Boulder traffic light upgrade work set for Broadway-Regent intersection

Boulder workers are scheduled to do transportation work at eight key intersections this spring, starting with the Broadway and Regent Drive intersection on Monday, according to a press release.

The work is expected to include new signal poles, cabinets, detection and controllers that allow left-turn phasing to depend more heavily on traffic conditions. The Broadway and Regent Drive construction is scheduled to happen next week while many University of Colorado students are away on spring break. There will be bike and pedestrian detours during the work, according to the press release. Workers will also close one lane at times on northbound Broadway, south and north of Regent Drive, while doing the work.
